Jennifer felt she had a normal, ordinary life. She grew up in a nurturing family, the youngest of four kids. Raised in the Catholic faith, Jennifer learned the name of Jesus early on.
While she may have known Jesus’ name, she’ll quickly admit she didn’t KNOW Jesus. Jennifer didn’t form a relationship with the great I AM until she was an adult. It wasn’t until her kiddos began attending preschool at a local church that she realized something was missing.
Shortly after joining the church, Jennifer dedicated her life to Christ. She didn’t want to just know His name; she wanted to know His heart. It was then that God showed her that her “normal” wasn’t so normal after all.
It wasn’t normal to be sexually assaulted by your teenage boyfriend. It wasn’t normal to suffer from an eating disorder. It wasn’t normal to lose an unborn child.
With this new revelation, God gave Jennifer a passion — teaching women that they matter to God. She may have walked through pain and trials in silence; but she didn’t walk through them alone. God was with her before she ever called out to Him. He loves us that much!
Shame and fear kept Jennifer from reaching out to the One who could restore her. Now, her heart is to encourage women to see God in their everyday lives and equip them to know Him more.
With a unique point of view and quirky sense of humor, Jennifer is far from “normal.” But God uses her gifts to show how an ordinary life is simply extraordinary!
